U Rijeci će se od 1. do 7. ožujka održati jubilarni, dvadeseti po redu, Međunarodni ženski velemajstorski šahovski turnir “Cvijet Mediterana Rijeka 2020.” uz gostovanje i bivšeg svjetskog šahovskog prvaka Anatolija Karpova.
U četvrtak, 27. veljače 2020. godine, u 12.00 sati, u Informativnom centru Grada Rijeke (Ri info), Korzo 18b, održat će se konferencija za medije na kojoj će biti najavljen jubilarni, 20. po redu, Međunarodni ženski velemajstorski šahovski turnir “Cvijet Mediterana Rijeka 2020.”.
Šahovski klub “Draga” iz Rijeke nastavlja tradiciju dugu 19 godina pa će se i ove 2020. godine u organizaciji Šahovskog kluba “Draga”, pod pokroviteljstvom Grada Rijeke, Primorsko-goranske županije, od 1.-7. ožujka 2020. održati 20. po redu međunarodni ženski šahovski turnir “Cvijet Mediterana“.
